For this purpose, Einar & Partners Research Unit have benchmarked and summarized the information from over 30 Service Mapping implementations.
Observations from our benchmarks
One of the conclusions we can see is that it is not necessarily the amount of services that impact the duration of a Service Mapping project. In our research and data we found multiple instances of implementations which targeted a high volume of complex applications, yet took shorter amount of time than projects of less complexity and smaller size.
